Hummingbird is made from local wood, Jempinis wood. Part of the base of this statue is made of Parasite wood. Parasite wood is a very unique type of wood.

Parasite wood forms naturally as a defense mechanism by a host tree overgrown by a parasite. This defense grows into unique wood called parasite wood. Back then, this wood was only used as firewood, but our skilled artists create beautiful art from it.

As the finishing touch, we choose to use a clear coat, to maintain the natural color of the wood. This statue is perfect for decorating your home or as a gift for loved ones.

This statue is handcrafted by expert Balinese carving artists. Each statue is a unique, second to none. We will carefully select a shape and size that closely resembles the one in the listing.
